COLDPLAY concert... and forward

it was Thursday, March 23, 2006
work, then go downtown and hope for the best...
if you didn't know, the tickets i got for the Coldplay concert were kind of sketchy... cuz it came from through the mail to a friend of mine and it wasn't his...lol

so excited, never been to a Coldplay concert.
met up with Alex at 6:30, hoping to get in at 7::45 to get in
(an event goes here but lets just say, the original tix were duds)

- WE got in and Richard Ashcroft started doing his thing- amazing singer/artist. but the highlight of the light during his tenure on the stage- Lucky Man and Bittersweet Symphony. AMAZING.
- by the Ashcroft ended, it was 9:15-ish, waited 20minutes for Coldplay. dang it- it was a good anticipating wait. took tons of picture but they're still on the camera lol
- so, Coldplay got on the stage and started with the first song on the X & Y cd- Square One. makes sense eh? for the X & Y tour haha. this was the set list of songs they did:

- Chris Martin- the lead singer- was all over the stage, crawling, laying down, jumping, doing weird dances, running up and down the whole stadium!! They are SOOOOOOOOOOOO good live. even better job than on their cd lol.
- Then Alex and I bought our coldplay commerative clothing- i got a black track jacket with white COLDPLAY on the front- looks sweet, and Alex got this black T with yellow design on the front and back- also sweet lol.

work, then had to go downtown to get my strings for my guitar. dang it- my g-string broke-nooooo lol it was my B- string.
- then i went to Alex(2.0)'s fellowship at TCAC, Broadview and Gerrard, good thing i took my sister's metro pass. at the fellowship, hmm, lets see the names: Alex, Brandon, Ray, Francis, Shannon, Ben, and three others i forgot the names of lol.
- we talked about Acts chapter 1, where Jesus took off to Heaven while 2 of the disciples kept on looking at the sky. also talked about MissionFest 2006. sounds interesting, maybe i will go today for the afternoon sessions.

don't look at the sky and daydream of Jesus coming back- know that He's there and will be coming back the same way He went to Heaven. And when He comes back, you will know becuase it was the same way He left- and everyone will know, trumpets will sound.

- then Aaron came by after coming from the UofT fellowship on friday nights. Then us six guys- Aaron, Brandon, Alex, Francis, Ray, and moi- wanted to watch a movie, V for Vendetta, but we couldn't find a parking space lol so we went to eat at Saigon Sisters, Young and Bloor. so crappy- i got like two spoonfuls of rice and curry that wasn't even 'hot'. sucks. I wasn't even full, so after dinner i ran over across the street and got a Chicken Sharwama from the Falafel House. I ate it when we went to Second Cup. took a short nap until we left. Aaron drove me home and i jumped into bed cuz it was a long day lol
